The truth is, people like to snoop. We’ve stayed in Airbnbs in Wyoming, Washington, Boston, Istanbul, Croatia and Serbia. And in every one of them we looked around the entire place. If you don’t want something seen by guests, then lock it up.
When we host, we put valuable jewelry, our passports and other important documents and any unmentionables in our clothes closet that has a lock on it. A safe, would obviously work as well. Or consider leaving it in the locked trunk of your car, if you’re not taking your car when you leave.
